Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift flour; measure and add baking powder, soda and salt. Sift again.
Cream shortening; add sugar.
Beat until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat until smooth.
Add dry ingredients alternately with bananas.
Combine thoroughly but do not beat.
Bake in greased and lined bread pan at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
