Coconut Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. coconut
    1 can milk (evaporated)
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 ready to bake pie shells
Preparation
    Soak coconut in the milk for about 15 minutes.
    Pour off milk from coconut.
    Mix with all the other ingredients and pour into the two pie shells.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
