Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1 1/2 c. shredded carrots
    1 1/2 c. cooked green peas, drained
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 c. chopped broccoli
    2 c. chopped cauliflower
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. imitation bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer first 6 ingredients in order given in large casserole dish.
    Set aside.
    Combine mayonnaise and sour cream, mixing well. Spread evenly over top of layered ingredients.
    Sprinkle cheese over mixture, then sprinkle bacon bits over all.
    Cover and chill for 6 hours.
