Smoky Lemon Garlic Barbecue Chicken - cooking recipe

1 chicken (cut into parts)
`1/2 c. olive oil
1 big lemon
6 large cloves garlic
Preparation

If you're on a diet, remove the skin from the chicken.
Place the chicken parts into a large mixing bowl.
Add the olive oil. Dice the garlic.
Slice off 2 or 3 slices of lemon and dice them as well (peel and all).
Add garlic and lemon to the chicken and olive oil.
Take what's remaining of the lemon and juice it into the bowl, then scrape the remaining pulp into the bowl as well. Let sit, covered, at room temperature for about 3 hours, stirring about every 30 minutes.
