Pineapple Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    3 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 can drained crushed pineapple
    egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tarter until foamy.
    Beat in sugar and vanilla.
    Pour over pie and bake about 10 minutes at 400\u00b0, until light brown.
