Country-Style Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. round steak
    1 Tbsp. sage
    salt and pepper to taste
    flour
    water
Preparation
    Cut steak into several servings.
    May have cubed at market or beat with hammer or mallet which makes servings larger and tender. Next, salt, pepper and coat with dry flour.
    With small amount of oil in frypan (3 tablespoons approximately), brown steak.
    Add sage and approximately 1/2 cup water.
    Place lid on pan and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
    May add water as needed, as this makes gravy for rice or potatoes served with steak.
