Native American Cinnamon Wild Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. dried cherries or raisins
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. cooked wild rice
    2 c. half and half or light cream, warmed
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Set aside.
    Combine eggs, dried cherries or raisins, maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, rice and half and half.
    Stir gently.
    Pour into casserole.
