Italian Beef Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
2 lb. lean chuck (1-inch cubes)
6 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 c. chili sauce
1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
3 c. water
4 medium potatoes
8 carrots, cut lengthwise (julienne style)
1/2 c. fresh Italian green beans or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen beans
Preparation

Cut sausage into 1/2-inch pieces and brown slowly in a skillet.
Remove from pan.
Dredge the beef cubes in flour, salt and pepper; brown in the drippings in the skillet.
Remove from pan and set aside with sausage.
Saute onion in drippings.
Place onion, sausage and beef cubes in pot.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Place mixture in 3-quart casserole.
Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours and 20 minutes.
