Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Sift first four ingredients, add milk, egg yolks and melted shortening.
    Mix thoroughly,
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Cook on well-greased waffle iron.
