Indiana Picnic Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 stick margarine
2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix together first four ingredients.
Save one cup for topping.
Add rest of ingredients to remainder of mixture in bowl. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
