Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 c. flour (self-rising)
    4 eggs
    2 small onions
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well with spoon. Mixture should be stiff. If not, add a teaspoon of flour and a teaspoon cornmeal until right consistency. Scoop out with tablespoon. Spoon into hot oil. Hush puppies should flip over on their own. When golden brown, remove from oil.
