Church Supper Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Ore-Ida hash browns, thawed
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 stick butter
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. onions, chopped
    1 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Melt butter; add onions.
    Cook until clear.
    Mix well with Cheddar cheese, soup and sour cream.
    Crumble potatoes into mixture.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with corn flakes.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 1 hour.
