Eggnog Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. eggnog
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. chopped candied cherries
Preparation
    In large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Combine eggnog, egg and butter.
    Add to dry ingredients and stir until blended.
    Stir in nuts and fruit.
    Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 2 3/4-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes.
    Turn out of pan onto wire rack to cool.
    Makes 1 loaf.
