Corn Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    5 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 bud garlic, minced
    1 can creamed corn
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/4 bell pepper
    dash of red pepper
    salt to taste
    2 c. milk
    buttered crumbs
Preparation
    Saute onion, garlic and bell pepper in bacon fat. Add beaten egg with milk and corn meal. Season to taste. Stir mixture until thickened over medium heat. Pour in buttered casserole dish. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Top with buttered bread crumbs.
