Ingredients

2 egg whites (room temperature)
pinch of salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
chocolate pecans (optional)
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 315\u00b0.
Beat egg whites to hold stiff points. Gradually add sugar, salt and vanilla.
Fold in chocolate bits and nuts.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.
Place in oven and turn off heat.
Leave overnight.
Makes 2 dozen.
