Mad Russian Atomic Balm(Modified From A Sunset Magazine Recipe, July 1993) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Heinz catsup (ketchup?)
    1/4 c. molasses
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    4 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    4 Tbsp. cheap vodka (optional)
    2 to 3 cloves minced garlic, pressed
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped Bermuda onion
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
Preparation
    Place all ingredients gently into a 3-quart saucepan.
    Stir often over medium heat until just at boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 20 minutes to blend the flavors.
    Let cool.
    Cover.
    Chill.
