Spanish Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. flank or round steak
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 c. sliced onion rings
    2 c. diced fresh tomatoes
Preparation
    Pound steak, cut into serving size pieces and dredge in flour mixed with salt and pepper.
    Brown steak on both sides in oil. Add onions and green pepper and saute.
    Then add tomatoes; cover and cook until steak is tender, about an hour.
    Cook slowly in a large skillet.
    Excellent covered with mashed potatoes.
    Serves 4 to 5.
