Beef Stew Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cut in 1-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. oil
    10 1/2 oz. can mushroom gravy
    1 c. tomato juice
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix (1/4 c.)
    1 tsp. prepared horseradish
    4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil. Drain off fat. Combine gravy, tomato juice, water, soup mix and horseradish. Stir into the meat and simmer 5 minutes. Place potatoes in a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with meat mixture and cover. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Stir once or twice.
