Betty'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. white Karo
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Melt butter, add sugar, syrup and salt; mix well.
    Add well beaten eggs and vanilla; mix well.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour into 9-inch pastry shell.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until set.
