Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. white sugar
4 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Mix together all ingredients. Roll in balls the size of a walnut and roll in white sugar. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Freezes well.
