Pumpkin Gingerbread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. shredded orange peel
3 egg whites
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/4 c. corn syrup
2 Tbsp. molasses
1 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine brown sugar, margarine, sugar and orange peel.
Beat until smooth.
Add egg whites; beat well.
Mix in pumpkin, corn syrup and molasses until smooth.
