Cabbage Burger Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 lb.) head cabbage, shredded
1 c. raw rice
1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 lb. hamburger
6 slices bacon
1 to 3 c. water (2 c.)
Preparation

Spread 1/2 of cabbage in a large buttered casserole.
Saute bacon strips; drain and set aside.
Brown onion and uncooked rice.
Spoon onion/rice over cabbage.
Brown hamburger; spoon over rice.
Season to taste.
Top with remaining cabbage.
Heat spaghetti sauce and water; pour over cabbage so it seeps in.
Top with bacon slices.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes, covered, until rice is tender, then uncovered until bacon is crisp.
