Ingredients

4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 sticks melted butter
1 tsp. almond extract
red raspberry jam
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
food coloring (red, green and yellow or any 3 colors)
1 drop oil
Preparation

With electric beater, mix eggs, sugar and flour.
Pour in melted butter and almond extract; mix well.
Separate the batter into 3 dishes.
Add green food coloring to one, red coloring to the second and yellow to the third.
Stir each color well.
Grease and flour 3 (10 x 6-inch) pans.
Pour mixtures into each pan equally and spread with a spoon.
Bake on top rack for 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Let cool, then remove cakes from pans and place one layer on a flat surface (either a cutting board or a cookie sheet).
