Pot Of Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pinto beans
    1 big onion or 2 little onions, cut up
    4 slices bacon, cut up or 1 medium smoked ham hock
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 small can tomato paste
    salt
    pepper
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Cut up onions and bacon or ham hock. Combine pinto beans, onion, bacon or ham hock, garlic salt and chili powder.
    Cook.
    Two hours later add 1 teaspoon more of chili powder and tomato paste.
    Cook 2 hours.
    After 2 hours, add salt and pepper (to cover top), cumin and oregano.
    Then cook and eat. Cook on low.
    Start on high and then after it boils, keep adding water.
