Lamb Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. lamb roast
    salt
    pepper
    1 jar black currant jelly
    1 c. ketchup
Preparation
    Place meat on rack in open baking pan; salt and pepper. Insert meat thermometer and roast at 325\u00b0 until meat reaches a temperature of 175\u00b0 for medium, 180\u00b0 for well-done.
    After one hour, baste with sauce made with jelly and ketchup.
    Baste every half hour.
    Total Cooking Time: 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
