Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced squash
    2 c. onion
    4 sweet peppers
    3/4 c. salt
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Boil 2 or 3 minutes; fill jars with squash mixture and liquid. Have tops and rings boiling hot and seal in jars.
