Sweet Potato Biscuit - cooking recipe

6 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
4 c. mashed sweet potatoes
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add sugar, shortening to sweet potatoes while hot.
Combine to flour mixture. Knead for 1 minute.
Roll out to 3/4 inch thick.
Cut and bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
