Grandma'S Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. whipped cream (Cool Whip)
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 oz. pkg. lime flavored Jell-O (may substitute other flavors)
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Put dry Jell-O mix (from package) into medium-sized bowl or mold.
    Add 1 cup boiling water to Jell-O.
    Stir until Jell-O is dissolved.
    Add cream cheese; mash with fork until cheese is in small pieces.
    Add pineapple, 1/2 cup cold water and whipped cream.
    Stir until well mixed.
    Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, until firm.
