Corn Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grits
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Pour grits into the boiling water and stir until it comes to a good boil.
    Lower fire.
    Cover and boil slowly for 20 minutes. Stir frequently.
    When ready to serve, put a small lump of butter into the grits and beat well for several minutes.
