Ostriche Alla Luigi(Oyster Luigi) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 doz. large oysters
3 Tbsp. olive oil
3 Tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp. dry basil
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 c. cracker or bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. picorino cheese
pinch of oregano
1 Tbsp. dry parsley
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Scrub shells and rinse.
Place on shallow pan.
Rub shells with garlic and add meat and oil to shell.
Mix basil, parsley, cheese, crumbs and oregano.
Sprinkle over oysters.
Cook under broiler until mixture browns, about 5 minutes.
Serves many.
