Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 c. frozen coconut
    5 Tbsp. flour
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and salt with 1/4 cup cold milk.
    Add to scalded milk; cook over low heat (or cook in a double boiler) until thick.
    Add beaten yolks and cook 2 minutes longer.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla and coconut.
    Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
