Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. light cream or half and half
    1 3/4 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook and stir mushrooms in margarine for 5 minutes.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, stirring until bubbly.
    Remove from heat; stir in cream and broth and heat to boiling. Stir constantly for 1 minute.
    Stir in chicken.
    Serve over rice, noodles, mashed potatoes or toast.
