Cranberry Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. margarine
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. orange rind, grated
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
1 c. fresh cranberries
Preparation

Stir dry ingredients together.
Cut margarine into dry ingredients with a pastry blender until it resembles fine crumbs. Combine orange juice and beaten egg.
Stir into dry ingredients. Stir grated orange rind, nuts and berries into mixture.
Grease a 1 pound coffee can or loaf pan.
Pour into pan.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
(Doubled recipe makes 3 (1 pound) coffee cans.
