Diabetic Chocolate Nut Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. sucaryl solution
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
Preparation

Melt chocolate with shortening over hot water.
Add sucaryl, then beaten eggs.
Beat well, adding sugar gradually.
Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir into chocolate mixture. Stir in walnuts and vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured 8 x 8 1/2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Makes 36 squares.
