Candy-Date Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dates
1 1/2 c. pecans
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/4 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Cook sugar and milk to 258\u00b0 (soft ball stage).
Immediately add dates from which the seeds have been removed.
Beat until the dates are dissolved.
When stiff, add nuts and place in a cold wet towel.
Make a roll.
Put in refrigerator until chilled.
Slice as desired.
