Chinese Chicken Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) bottle Italian dressing
2 tsp. soy sauce
2 c. green cabbage, shredded
2 c. red cabbage, shredded
2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 (8 oz.) can bamboo shoots
1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen pea pods, thawed and drained
1/3 c. red bell pepper, cubed
1/4 c. julienne carrots
1/3 c. green onions, chopped
1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles
Preparation

In a small bowl, whisk together dressing and soy sauce.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, toss the remaining ingredients except the noodles.
Pour the dressing mix over the salad and toss well to coat.
Chill until ready to serve.
Sprinkle noodles over salad before serving.
Makes 12 cups.
