Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables, rinsed and drained
1/2 c. packaged biscuit mix
1/4 tsp. pepper
2/3 c. evaporated milk
2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, cubed
Preparation

Cook the onion in margarine in a large saucepan until tender but not browned.
Stir in biscuit mix, pepper and thyme. Add chicken broth and evaporated milk. Cook and stir until mixture is thick and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Add chicken and vegetables.
Heat until mixture is bubbly. Reduce heat; keep warm.
