Pink Party Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. cherry jello
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    4 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 large can sweet dark cherries, drained
    1 c. sugar
    8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
    1 large can Milnot, whipped
    2 1/2 to 3 c. crushed vanilla wafers
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. oleo
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling drained juices; chill until slightly thickened.
    Meanwhile, cream sugar and cream cheese; blend in fruit.
    When jello is thickened, blend into stiffly beaten Milnot; fold in fruit mixture.
    Blend wafer crumbs with oleo and add pecans.
    Press all but 1 cup in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex.
    Spread jello fruit mixture over crumbs.
    Sprinkle reserved cup of crumbs on top.
    Chill.
