Chicken And Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 4 lb. stewing hen
2 cans mushroom soup
1/4 tsp. sage
1 c. diced cooked celery
3/4 loaf stale bread
1 onion
2 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook hen until tender, remove bones and dice meat.
Mix meat with soup.
Set aside broth to cool.
Crumble bread and mix with salt, pepper, celery, sage and onion.
Moisten with cooled broth. Place half the crumb mixture over bottom of a 9 x 15-inch pan. Cover with chicken and soup mixture.
Mix beaten eggs into the remaining dressing and put evenly over chicken.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
Serves 10 to 12.
