Ham And Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded (1 c.)
2 large eggs, yolks and whites separated
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, collard greens or kale, thawed and squeezed dry
4 oz. ham, cut into 1/4-inch cubes (3/4 c.)
1/3 c. sliced green onions
1/2 c. instant Cream of Wheat
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 1 1/2-quart deep baking dish. Heat milk in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat just until small bubbles start to form around edge.
(Do not boil!)
Add cereal and stir about 30 seconds until mixture starts to thicken.
Remove from heat; add cheese and stir until melted.
Add egg yolks; stir until blended.
Stir in spinach, ham and onions.
In a small bowl, beat egg whites with electric mixer until soft peaks form.
Fold egg whites into Cream of Wheat mixture with rubber spatula.
