Serendipity Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. top round beef, thinly sliced
    5 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt
    2 Tbsp. sherry
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen string beans
    4 Tbsp. peanut oil
    m.s.g.
Preparation
    Marinate meat ahead of time at room temperature in soy sauce, sugar, starch, salt, m.s.g. and sherry.
    In saucepan, cook beans according to directions.
    Drain.
    Heat oil in wok.
    Add the drained meat and stir-fry for a few minutes; add the beans and cook for a few minutes longer.
    Serve over hot buttered rice. Serves 2 to 3.
