Pumpkin Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. salad oil
    3 eggs
    2 c. pumpkin
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Use large bowl.
    Beat oil and sugar until well blended.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add pumpkin and beat well.
    Sift flour and spices and add to pumpkin mixture.
    Add dates and nuts.
    Pour batter into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
    Line the bottom of pans with wax paper.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
    Serve plain or warm with whipped cream.
    Freezes well. Makes 2 loaves.
