White Christmas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 doz. eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 c.flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (4 oz.) bag chopped walnuts
    2 (8 oz.) jars green cherries
    2 (8 oz.) jars red cherries
Preparation
    Put cherries in colander.
    Drain well; set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar very well.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Beat well after each one.
    Add 2 1/2 cups flour gradually beating with each addition.
    Add vanilla.
    Put cherries and walnuts into 1/2 cup flour.
    Add to mixture.
    Include excess flour.
    Spoon into well-greased and floured Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Lower heat to 275\u00b0.
    Bake for 1 hour or until cake is clean when tested with a toothpick.
    Slice thin for best taste.
