Jacque'S Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. virgin olive oil
    1/2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1 leek (about 3 oz.), clean and cut 1/2-inch pieces
    1 medium onion, peeled and coarsely chopped
    2 carrots, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    1 c. vermicelli pasta
    1 zucchini (4 oz.), trim and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
    4 mushrooms, coarsely chopped (1 c.)
    1 sweet yam (6 oz.), peel and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    7 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil and butter in a saucepan.
    When hot, add the leek and onions and saute for 2 minutes.
    Then add the carrots, zucchini, mushrooms and yams.
    Mix well and add the water, salt and pepper.
