Meatball Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. fried meatballs
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. basil
    1 Tbsp. oil (reserved from frying meatballs)
    3 large potatoes, cut coarsely
    4 carrots, cut coarsely
    1 onion, cut coarsely
    1 stalk celery, cut coarsely
Preparation
    Blend flour into reserved oil.
    Stir in tomatoes and remaining ingredients (except meatballs).
    Simmer 10 minutes, adding water if necessary.
    Pour over meatballs into crock-pot and cook at least 5 hours.
