Old English Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 egg yolks (set whites aside)
    fruit
Preparation
    Mix flour and butter or margarine.
    Add salt, milk, sugar, baking powder and egg yolks.
    Beat egg whites and add to mixture. Place 2 to 3 cups sliced fruit in bottom of deep dish (use peaches, apples, pears and nectarines).
    Pour batter over fruit. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serve with a dollop of ice cream.
