Beer And Bratwurst - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. (6 to 8) bratwurst or other smoked sausage
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tsp. celery seed
1 bay leaf
12 oz. beer
Preparation

In large saucepan, combine all ingredients.
Heat until almost boiling.
Simmer, covered, about 5 minutes.
Remove bratwurst and continue simmering onion until tender.
Broil or grill bratwurst 3 to 4 inches from heat about 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
Drain onions and serve.
