Hamburger Pie With Potato Fluff Topper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 16 oz. can cut green beans, drained
1 10 3/4 oz. can condensed tomato soup
4 servings instant mashed potatoes
1/2 c. warm milk
1 beaten egg
dash pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shredded Amer. cheese
Preparation

In large skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender.
Add salt and pepper.
Add drained beans and soup; pour into greased 1/2 qt.
casserole.
Prepare four servings packaged instant mashed potatoes according to package directions, but reserve the milk.
Add egg, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add enough reserved milk so potatoes are stiff enough to hold shape.
Spoon in mounds of potatoes over casserole.
Sprinkle potatoes with cheese.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
Serves 4 to 6.
