Kitchree(Rice And Lentils) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2-3 cups Basmati rice
    1 med. onion
    3/4 cup masoor dal
    1/2 tsp. ginger/garlic paste
    Pinch of turmeric
    1/4 tsp. garam masala
    1 green chili
    2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
    2 sticks fresh mint, chopped
    1/2 tsp. black cumin seeds
    1 stick cinnamon
    3 cardamom pods
    3 cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt to taste
    4-5 cups water
Preparation
    Wash rice and dal.
    Fry onion until brown.
    Combine all the ingredients and add water.
    Cook in rice cooker.
    When done, mix and serve.
