Grandmother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. sifted all purpose flour (better with cake flour)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter or margarine.
    Gradually add sugar, while beating.
    Beat until light.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in flour and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Spoon into a greased and floured 9-inch tube pan or bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour or until done.
